A Healthier Meatball
Been trying to cook healthier lately…
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef (or turkey if you swing that way)
- 3 egg whites
- 1 full egg
- 1.5 cups of oats (Plain Quaker oats)
- 1 bag of taco seasoning
What to do
- pre-heat oven to 350
- beat eggs together with a fork until the yolk dissolves
- mix everything together in a bowl with your hands
- spray muffin tin with pam
- Kneed mixture into “a little smaller then your fist” sized balls, recipe should make 5-7 large meatballs, more for smaller ones
- place a meatball in each muffin spot
- bake meatballs for 20 mins at 350
